MomLife at Severns Valley (2025-26)

- Moms who do not need childcare in order to attend can go ahead and register yourself under "MomLife Ministries Yearly Dues" and pay the $45 yearly fees that go to MomLife Ministries.
- Moms who do need childcare in order to attend should register yourself for the waitlist under "Waitlist for moms who need childcare".  You will pay nothing unless we can get your children into childcare spots at a later time.
 
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT REGISTERING:
- Please make sure that each of your children needing childcare is registered on their age's wait list so that we have them on our list in case we're able to accommodate them. 
-You will register children based on their age on SEPTEMBER 2, 2025.
 

MomLife at Severns Valley is designed to be a community for moms in the challenging years of mothering babies and preschoolers. We invite all moms of kids in kindergarten and below to join us, regardless of age, faith, background, or church membership. 

As we move forward into a new year, we want to continue to grow and deepen the connections within our community. Through prayer and seeking the counsel of Severns, we have decided to change the source of our curriculum from MomCo to MomLife. Our meeting formats will remain the same, the number of meetings will stay the same, and the content change will help us love God more and grow in community with other moms with greater intentionality.

MomLife at Severns Valley gathers at Severns Valley Baptist Church approximately two Tuesday mornings a month from September to May from 9:30 to 11:30 am. (You'll notice that some months have one or three meetings, but it is about every other week, with an extra week between meetings because of Fall and Spring Breaks.)  We dive deeper into topics of motherhood and develop long-lasting friendships.  Meetings include a potluck-style breakfast, connection with other moms, a video or live speaker, and discussion time around a table.  You will be placed at a table of about 6-8 moms which includes a Table Leader and Mentor Mom. :)

While registering for MomLife, you are required to pay the MomLife organization registration fee of $45. This money goes straight to MomLife Ministries, not to our MomLife at SV group. This will allow you access to all of the MomLife content on their website PLUS a guided journal that you can use throughout the year, Scripture Memory Cards, and Family Conversation Cards, all of which are physical items you will receive!
We take local dues for our group to help support the ministry. These dues go towards things like crafts, coffee, childcare snacks and offset cost of some playdates and mom's nights out. Each member will pay dues of $25 in both the Fall and Spring. (The total cost for the year is $95.) You will be able to pay these dues at the first meeting of the Fall and Spring semesters.  If financial assistance is needed so that you can participate, we want you here, so please contact momco@sv.church!
